Soccer

I am not sure that there is much of anything funnier than little kids playing soccer. Swarms of kids???kicking the ball and each other, driving the ball down the field the wrong way and complete lack of attention. Then you have all the screaming parents, kick the ball, pay attention get it, get it, other way, other way, whoo-hooo!! Good Job, Good Job. Total mayhem. It's funny!!!

Naps are good

This is just a random post because I just recently took these pictures. Ella has been trying to give up her naps lately even though she still needs them! That is my story excuse anyway for when she is throwing a fit. She is just tired, really. Anyway Tim fell asleep on the couch and Ella must of thought this looked like a good idea because she crawled over the top off him and fell asleep her self. Now she is wedged up against the back of the couch and they are both snoring away.

Lazy Sunday

Sometimes I really loath working and/or my job. The stress of trying to juggle every one's schedule is not worth all the headaches, heartaches,because it is inevitable that one of those balls up in the air is going to drop and dealing with the aftermath of all that really sucks. That is why I completely fall in love with days like today. When you get to wake up slow and stay in your jammies half the day and there is no rushing off to do whatever. To me it is absolutely the best day ever.

We had lunch with grandma and grandpa(didn't take pictures), met Brandie and Autumn at the park(also didn't take pictures)and spent the rest of the day building tracks (of which I have pictures)

Ella had to be in a Picture

Attack of ELZILLA!!! Nathan was very concerned that Ella was in his room while we constructing. After the whole circus fiasco he is convinced that she is from another planet sent here with the sole purpose of ruining his life and/or stuff, toys, etc. etc.

Blogging gives me a headache

I have been trying to change my background on this blog since the beginning of time and Eureka!!! Finally figured out why it has been sooo impossible... After hours and hours of messing around I went to the help center and found this---Some script tags inserted manually into the template code, instead of inserted through a HTML/JavaScript page element, will prevent the Template Page Elements tab from fully loading. For instance, some users report that they are unable to view the "Add Page Element" link. To workaround this issue, please ensure that all JavaScript is inserted via a page element. That's me!! I don't have an "Add Page Element" link. I also have not the knowledge to fix this little problem. So fine I can not change my background, I'll just go get a new template. Easy enough, I found one, I saved it, I went to "Edit HTML" and I backed up my old template just like they tell you. In case anything should happen you have the old template to fall back on, all super good ideas. This goes smoothly and then I upload my new template and I don't like it at all, so I upload my old temp and I get this blah blah message about how it could not save the changes made because some tags were not closed?? What the what? Very bad words!!!! Everything is gone and I am trying to redo but I just heard Nate telling Tim and mom won't even play with me. I guess I need to step away from this blog.

Diapers and Daiquiris'

Saturday after the fair I went to my friend Blanca's diapers and daiquiris' party. Way fun but I felt bad that I showed up all sweaty nasty from the fair. I just did not have time to go home and shower/change after dragging Nate away from the rides. So I had to admire the baby from afar.


He is a cutie and I am really happy for Blanca, she now has a little boy to add to her two beautiful daughters.

man of the hour with Dana

Anyone who knows me knows that I am all about the food. There was some pasta salad, spinach salad, a bean salad, chips and salsa, fruit and cupcakes. very yummybeautiful and delicious cupcakes Brandie madeBrandie's neighbor decided that it was a good time(7:30 pm) to trim the trees resulting in a branch coming down on a power line. So here is the line guy trying to get the branch. I don't think he was all that thrilled to be spending his Saturday night listening to a bunch of women talking about childbirth and breastfeeding but he was a good sport and he got a cupcake.

Same old Fair

Fair on Saturday. I took Nathan to the fair last Saturday, it is funny that my son is now enjoying the same fair I enjoyed 20 years ago. It has not changed. I was really excited to go with Nate because this year he is tall enough to go on some of the bigger rides with an adult, me!!
I love, love, love going on rides and I have never gotten sick on a ride. I got sick this year at the fair! Luckily Nate had a friend to ride with while I was out of commission. I had to go buy a sprite and sit down it was embarrassing but it did not last long and eventually I was back in the game. Fun times. I was even pretty good food wise I only had a corn dog, some corn, oh yeah some mini doughnuts. I think there was a hamburger and fries in there somewhere, carmel apple, cotton candy. I mean we were there for a really long time.

Nathan has been talking about this pirate ship ride for a year. Last year he wanted to go so bad but he just was not tall enough.

He thought the bumper cars were so cooland he still enjoys the little rides.
